Delighted to have officially launched Conservative Friends of Overseas Territories on the 25th September 2024 at CCHQ, with passionate speeches from our Presidents Lord Blencathra and Alicia Kearns, together with Members of Falklands Legislative Assembly Leona Roberts and Mark Pollard.

The reception provided Conservative Party members with firsthand insight from Falkland Island elected representatives to hear more about the issues that affect their communities and the thriving democracy that the Falklands Islands has built with their own constitution, laws and traditions.

Leona Roberts and Mark Pollard pointed to the value of our historic and successful relationship, built on our shared values and the importance of continuing work in partnership on a variety of areas of mutual interest, including in our shared security, response to climate change, trade and education.
